LuminQi ("we", "us") values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use luminqi.com (the "Service").

  • Profile data: birth date, birth hour, gender (used for feng shui calculations)
  • Room photos: images uploaded for AI analysis
  • Room layouts: room data created using the designer tool

Automatically Collected

  • Usage data: page views, feature usage frequency
  • Device data: browser type, operating system, language preference

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide feng shui analysis and personalized recommendations
  • Calculate your gua number, flying star chart, and daily fortune
  • Improve our service and user experience
  • Send fortune notifications you opt into

3. Photo Processing

Room photos you upload are sent to an AI service (OpenRouter/GPT-4o) for analysis. Photos are used solely to generate room layout recognition results and are not permanently stored after analysis. We do not use your photos to train AI models or for any other purpose.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) — you can only access your own data. All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with bcrypt-hashed passwords; we cannot see your raw password.

  • Vercel — Website hosting

6. Your Rights

You can at any time: view, update, or delete your personal data; download your analysis history; delete your account and all associated data. Contact us at support@luminqi.com.
